Iternal Affairs does not investigate officers wrong doing

So, the people that live across the street from me were having a HUGE fight. She is pregnant and locked him out of the house. He kicked down the door and I could see him grab her and telling here to get out. She was screaming no and he pushed her down on the ground. As 3 of us stood outside to speak to the officers, I had to use the restroom. I was gone 2 minutes and the police officer had came and went. WHAT? I am a DV Survivor and my dad has changed several laws to prevent this from happening. He also founded SAFE House in Henderson, NV and my step mother runs it. So you can say I know just a little bit about domestic violence. Enough to know that police officers are suppose to do more then walk in and walk out. I have tried to contact the PD for information on how to start a neighborhood watch and have never been contacted back. If you call the police and they don't help you, then who do you call next. Seems like metro is getting lazy. It is sad to see that nothing has really changed since 1993. Well, I contacted IA and DET. Haas told me he was going to investigate, the next thing I know I get a letter in the mail saying they found nothing in their investigation. Really? I thought you would have talked to the 3 witnesses and the victim at the VERY least. What did you investigate? I don't think metro or Henderson Police take any complaint seriously!!!!
